United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company in the world, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Gas Fitter ready to grow their career with the leader in the industry. To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals to perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation. Looking for a motivated candidate to keep up to the demanding and high-paced winter heating season. Advancement in the apprenticeship program possible for the right individual.
Responsibilities will include:
Install, service, maintain and tear down temporary heating systems
Working with propane and natural gas systems.
Servicing and maintaining construction heaters.
installing black iron pipe installation
Superior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer make you a top-notch candidate.
Wage – $36.05 with guaranteed Annual increases
Addition $4.60 per hour Union pension Contribution
On Call Premiums
Opportunity to grow with Tuition Reimbursement
Requirements:
Gas Fitter B or registered apprentice (level 1 completed
Must have class 5 license and clean driving record.
sound knowledge of the gas code
Applicant must have ability to work on his own as well as in a team setting.
Experience in temporary construction heating is an asset
Must have the ability to work overtime hours including on call shifts and possible weekends.
experience in HVAC services considered an asset
This position is a Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
