As an Outbound Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing an outbound sales team of Supervisors and Business Development Representatives. You’ll be accountable for optimizing sales opportunities through targeting small value, infrequent customers, and/or new prospects via phone, email, and/or text. You will also motivate the team in a fast-paced environment whilst demonstrating a passion for the services offered and creating a culture of high performance. Success will be measured through team achievements demonstrated by meeting and/or exceeding key performance metrics.
What you'll do:
Build and preserve the outbound sales department by attracting, hiring, and retaining qualified sales professionals
Lead, mentor, and coach the outbound sales supervisors to achieve outstanding results for their related districts through the development of team members, an unyielding focus on achieving targets, and, overall team engagement
Seek out new, persuasive, and innovative selling techniques to assist with continuously driving conversion rates and revenue yielding YOY growth
Establish, set, and align team goals with departmental and individual targets, business initiatives, projects, and processes to maintain transparency of expectations and define what equates to successful performance
Provide insight into team forecasts, actuals, and customer trends to predict performance to plan
Forecast and executive report outs providing details on key metrics, target to goal achievements, successes, and challenges
Partner with corporate and field sales departments to maintain an understanding and knowledge of the current market trends, anticipated changes, and opportunities
Take ownership over organizational initiatives and projects
Work with key stakeholders to gather and document new technology project requirements, develop a plan to implement changes, train, and provided feedback on adoption

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum three years of demonstrated successful sales leadership and territory optimization
Managerial experience with a sales-focused team of direct and/or indirect reports
Prior experience with rental equipment preferred
Effective leadership, motivation, and organization skills
Computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce.com Preferred)
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, facilitating, relaying information and presentation skills
Ability to develop a strategic plan and convert into actionable results
Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on negotiating, collaborating and conflict resolution
Ability to set goals and establish performance standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong influencing and internal customer service skills; intermediate presentation skills
Must be able to effectively manage multiple high-profile projects at one time
