As a Sales Enablement Manager at United Rentals, you will focus on translating marketing and sales enablement strategy into actionable tactical programs to drive measurable impact at the Field Sales level. You’ll work to deliver support programs and enablement initiatives to maximize selling effectiveness across strategic vertical teams. You will also evaluate sales lifecycles and scenarios: Working with sales and marketing leaders, evaluate and understand key sales lifecycles and scenarios within strategic markets.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
Support strategic sales efforts focused on market penetration and growth bridging functional business units and ensuring a vertical-specific solutions-based go-to-market approach
Develop comprehensive understanding of key customer value drivers and how we position to communicate our value pillars through sales lifecycle and selling process
Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to support development of sales enablement plan, including the major programs that will be rolled out into target vertical markets
Support existing/Develop new vertical positioning and messaging gaining buy-in from and ensuring alignment with key sales organization stakeholders
Create relevant sales enablement initiatives and content to support full sales lifecycle approach initially at National Account level and potentially flowing into other sales levels
Support competitive research for use in developing enablement programs and materials to ensure competitiveness within vertical markets

BA or BS; MBA preferred
7-10 years of experience
Experience in or detailed knowledge of sales enablement, revenue-facing and sales support functions
Demonstrate best practices, methodologies and structured approach to sales enablement
Quantifiable experience having a positive impact on business outcomes (win rate, length of sales cycle, quota attainment, etc.
Budget experience: Initial setting, allocation and tracking
Experience managing projects in a highly matrixed organization
Flexible & adaptive
Affinity for marketing, but with a sales lens
Well organized and ability to manage project plans
Analytical ability to understand data trends, market analysis, etc.
Disciplined, self-directed, collaborative and team player
