United Rentals Service and Maintenance Specialist-North America in Scottsdale, Arizona

As a Service and Maintenance Specialist at United Rentals, you are responsible for reviewing and updating the maintenance and inspection steps program. You will provide administrative support of the Diesel Laptops program. Hands-on responsibility for providing maintenance support as needed to the service teams in the field, which includes hour meter error resolution, ARI approvals and ARI PM reporting, boom cable replacement review. Work with the Service and Maintenance team to provide administrative support on team initiatives.

Additional duties include the following:

  • Review and update the Maintenance & Inspection Steps Program

  • Work with the Service and Maintenance Managers to review maintenance and inspection steps and interval changes with existing and new fleet

  • Review and respond to emails received in the Maintenance inbox

  • Provide support for ARI Service and Maintenance

  • Conduct monthly review of boom cable replacements

  • Assist with updating Initiative Smart Sheets to keep all projects and statuses current

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record with at least 2 years maintenance administration experience

  • Proficient in most Microsoft applications and systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Must have or develop proficiency in RentalMan

  • Must be a strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Problem solving capabilities

  • Good analytical skills
