As a Marketing Performance Analyst at United Rentals, you will support the company’s effort to target and quantify the impact of its marketing and digital activities. You will use analytics, data mining, and financial modeling to drive improved decision making, increased return on investment and profitable growth. You will be based in the Corporate Marketing team while working closely with the Corporate Performance Analytics Team.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
Use analytics, data mining, visualization, and modeling to drive improved decision making and improved productivity in marketing and digital activities
Design and execute the monthly KPI reporting For corporate, marketing and field stakeholders
Provide ‘Double click’ details to support operational decisions delivered through strong corporate and field relationships
Bridge customer information from internal and external data sources, including digital customer data (such as site interactions and digital engagement data from third parties, e.g. Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc.), and internal core customer data
Targeted analytic support for strategic projects
Develop and maintain strong relationships both at the field and corporate level in order to operationalize and take action from the learning from the data analytics
Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models
Conduct advanced data analysis and highly complex designs algorithm; apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple real-time decision systems
Other duties assigned as needed
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research or Analytical/Quantitative Methods Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
2-3 years progressive analysis experience with a focus on digital marketing
Ability to work directly with databases (SQL proficiency)
Advanced Analytics tools such as R or SAS is required
Visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos
Experience in digital reporting tools such as GSC, Google 360
Proficient in Sales Force and Sales Force Marketing Cloud
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills with knowledge of technology tools that support this work
