As a Director, Customer Digital Tech at United Rentals, you will be responsible for the leadership of customer facing digital technologies, including architecture, development, quality assurance, maintenance, operations/monitoring, release management, problem management, hardware and software research and implementation.

Responsibilities will also include the following:
Partner with business teams to understand product roadmap and develop vision/plan for how technology can deliver value for customers, including collaborating on design choices
Manage internal teams and vendors to deliver system capabilities on time and budget and with high quality
Work across IT teams to ensure seamless integration of customer facing systems with the enterprise architecture
Ensure transparency and accountability of teams and vendors in delivering new systems and capabilities
Establish IT service and quality standards/processes and improvement recommendations, staying abreast of new technologies, market conditions and the competitive environment to ensure best practices
Ensures sustainable operations and ongoing monitoring/alerting of environment
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
Bachelors preferred; or comparable education and experience
8-10 years experience in developing technology solutions, with an emphasis on web/mobile agile application development and customer facing technologies
Significant experience in technology project management including collaborative business partnerships, cross functional leadership/influence, vendor management and issue resolution
Supervisory and team management experience strongly preferred
