United Rentals Lead, Systems Analyst in Stamford, Connecticut

As a Lead Analyst, Systems at United Rentals, you will assist in the development and implementation of information technology solutions to support back-office and other functions. You’ll analyze user specifications and requirements for back-office and other applications and design, build, test, and support functionality solutions.

Location : Remote to start and then based out of Stamford, CT office.
Additional duties include the following:
Assess user requests for new or modified systems functionality and write business specification for programmers
Discuss desired change with user and prepare specification document accordingly
Test new or modified application functionality to business specification
Perform tests to determine application performance, including effect on existing, or planned changes, to functionalities
Build and Manage systems data interfaces and user requests
Build and manage file load processes and review for completeness to ensure data integrity
Provide data and analysis in support of company initiatives and audits
Build custom query logic to support business requests to access specific datasets
Serve as Help Desk support for users of UR back office and other systems
Assist in training employees on back-office and other systems applications
Other duties assigned as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a Computer Science minor OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a Business, Accounting or Finance minor
Three to five years of experience in accounting or finance is required. Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning package is preferable
Must possess excellent PC skills (including MS Office), excellent SQL skills, and proven project management ability
